Can I turn off Email Security/Protection in my Antivirus/Firewall?

I do not Use any mail clients and use only web based Yahoo mail account..

and No Pop3 so can i turn off the email settings of my Antivirus/firewall? The ones that says scan email attachments..

I use norton at office and zonealarm at home and always a web based email

yes u can for this open ur antivirus software and look for the required link after searching in all the available options. I hv done it in norton.
