my computer is really really slow and it happened all of a sudden so i am assuming its a virus! So i need to get some some antivirus protection i think! Please tell me if this is what i need to do!

To speed up your computer - click onto Tools on your Toolbar; then Internet Options; then on the General tab look for Browsing History; click onto Delete; then click onto Delete Temporary Internet Files, Cookies, and History.
That along with the AVG anti virus (which you should download immediately and do a thorough PC scan), and Zone Alarm firewall others mentioned should get your computer back in tiptop shape, running like a champ. Oh, and also get and run (asap) some of the free anti-spy ware that has been recommended, as well ;)

You are probably infected with spyware or virus or both. But the only way to deal is to run the antivirus and anti-sypware programs. Here is a good free anti-virus program
