The Shield Deluxe seems to be the best.

But if price doesnt matter, when it comes to name brand: Norton is the best and most instantly effective.

McAfee.
Use avast, or avg .for antivirus. Then use adaware to remove spyware then get spyware blaster to prevent any spyware from being installed in your computer.
forget norton or mcafee. they are appaulling compared to Kaspersky.

but if money was an issue, get AVG free. I use that even though i could use kaspersky

In my opinion the BEST of the BEST Would be AVG , It's free

and it detects every known viruses made today.Theres also an advance AVG Which cosst money and is twice better.Anti Spyware i know is Ad-Aware 2007 , Free ( Can be upgraded for a price ) and it detects every Internet Spyware crap
I recomend "Avast Antivirus." It's completely free and has some "ok" features
