your lic. must cover what you intend.

generally you can "pay" more to get what you want.

Norton 360 covers 3 computers .running special.symantec.com

Depend on EULA of software. Most is only good for one computer and probably will run into trouble. If they are all home computers, go with one of the free ones from Kaspersky, AVG or Avast. All are good. If a corporate network, thy a site license for Trend Micro. They are scalable, customizable for elements and have excellent support at a reasonable cost.
If you have many computers in the network, it would be best to purchase a "corporate" version. If you have one desktop, and one laptop, you shouldnt have any trouble. I did it with Norton, up until Norton 2006, when it wanted to control my firewall, antivirus, pop up, wouldnt stop telling me that msn messenger wasnt protected, took three times as long for PC to boot, so on, and so on. I bought Norton Antivirus 2006, not Norton Antivirus, Anti pop up, anti messenger, anti firewall, anti computer speed. I uninstalled about two days after install, threw that 50 dollars in the trash. Worst investment I ever made as far as software. And will be the LAST investment I make with that name on it.
