Does Yahoo! Mail still scan with Norton Antivirus when configured with MS Outlook pop settings?

I have been using Yahoo! internet mail for awhile. However, I recently configured MS Outlook to work with Yahoo! Mail. While downloading my messages with Outlook I realized that now I might be prone to more viruses whereas with Yahoo! Mail, they scanned attachments with Norton before I downloaded them. Does Yahoo! scan attachments before I download them with Outlook or should I be looking for a antivirus app that works with Outlook.
