Everytime I reboot and get online, my antivirus (also protects from spyware) warns me about Malware?

So I push the button provided by the antivirus that says "terminate connection", or something related to that. I have done a complete scan of the computer, done a boot scan. However, it will still pop up everytime after a fresh boot. What can I do? I do not download anything nor have I intentionally. Also have Windows XP firewall and Windows defender.

hi, perhaps you can try Norton to remove the virus and protect your PC. but you need to pay for the software

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

download firefox for free:

Simply put, you have an adware supported "free" application installed. File sharing applications, toolbars etc are the most villainous for adware. Which antivirus are you using?
If Avast is asking you to terminate the connection, then the Avast Web Shield or possibly the Mail Shield is detecting something trying to get IN to your computer not something that is already ON your hard drive, it would seem.

I would post that question on the official Avast fourum:

They are good guys.
your protection is to sensitive
Right click on that %26 delate
which anti vius protcetion are you using ? I would remove your current one and use AVG which is a free download and excellent anti virus .......

If you still get messages you may well has a virus on the system which will need removing ....
