Why does Windows XP tell me I have no antivirus Protection? I have purchased a good product.?

If I go to security in control panel And click on I will monitor antivirus myself then popup will exit, anybody ever dealt with this?

Happens. You can disable this warning from the control panel .... security stuff.
i had this...but i don't really pay attention since I have reliable antivirus. if you have good %26lt;reliable%26gt; antivirus program %26lt;I hope so%26gt; then do not pay attention. turn off the Microsoft virus and firewall off.
Don't sweat it. All that means is that you're not using an AV program that MS recognizes. If you have installed an AV and its running, then you're protected.
What antivirus program do you use?
