PC problems: bad case of virus, tried to run Norton antivirus but system freezes?

i tried to restore the system to an earlier point but none available for some reason (may be memory issue) and it freezes...

How can i run the antivirus without my system freezing up??

push control,alt,delete click the tab labeled processes and click the tab labeled user name look at the list of names ,system,owener,network and look at the ones that say owener and exit out some of them that should free up your memory an allow you to run norton if you still need help you can e-mail me at lcman12@aol.com ,Luke

Use Mc Cafe Anti virus.

Note:- Norton's Auto Enable should be disabled while installing Mc Cafe or other antivirus Sw.
Your Norton antivirus has been infected. Uninstall it and get some other antivius software
Your norton should work and the virus is blocking you from any further use of internet. my advise is to delete every thing u don't need or use. Games, downloadings,any thing that could be a start of a virus.
