my subscrition from norton ran out and i now want avest, is there a website or something i can go to to unistall/download norton, or can i just install the new antivirus?

I got told having 2 antivirus is good because they all do diffrent things
go to control panel and if you got xp go to add/remove programs and uninstall norton. you could have both on but they will conflict and stuff can get through just like have 2 firewalls running. and myself and many of my comp friends stick to avg for virus protection. been running avg free and have not had any problems since i switched from norton had numerous infections and other issues when i had norton and avg cleared it up and ran faster
Yes. Your computer will not allow you to have two anti-virus, you must uninstall the one you already have to install a new one.
norton pretty much stops you from installing things while its present.. try the normal uninstall with it. then the new a/v ..
