Punching in a key for Norton AntiVirus 2006?

Ok... my Norton AntiVirus recently expired. I have a new key from another Norton 2006 Package I found. I didn't know where to punch it in so I uninstalled Norton using Windows Add/Remove Programs. I put in this new CD but once I booted up the computer after reinstalling, the product remembered my old key that already expired. I thought it would ask for a key but it didn't... what can I do?

You could try using The Norton Removal Tool before installing again.
